New HRA Case Studies Show Power of Defined Contribution Strategy

Businesses of all types and sizes are switching to a Defined Contribution HRA strategy for employee health benefits

Zane Benefits, the leader in Defined Contribution Healthcare and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs), today announced a new customer case study section of its website at www.ZaneBenefits.com. Businesses can now review firsthand accounts of how Zane’s HRA helps thousands of employers offer better health benefits at lower costs.hra and defined contribution case studies

Defined Contribution and HRAs enable an employer to determine exactly how much to spend on employee health benefits. Unlike the one-size-fits-all approach in the traditional employer “group” market, with Zane’s HRA, employees are empowered to use the allocated funds to shop for the health insurance plans, benefits and services that best meet their individual needs.

In May 2012, Visa Passport Pro (VPP) partnered with Zane Benefits to offer its employees a Defined Contribution ZaneHRA plan. VPP employees now receive a tax-free monthly “defined contribution” that employees choose how to spend.  Employees may choose individual health insurance plans that best fit their needs and cover other eligible medical costs.

Olga Daniels, CFO for Visa Passport Pro, states, “Using the ZaneHRA was definitely the most cost effective solution for providing health benefits to our employees.  Additionally, we enjoy the ease of it all; the administrative work is near zero. Plus, the Zane staff is always available if we have any questions.”

See below for additional customer stories:

“Businesses of every size and industry are experiencing the outstanding results that Zane Benefits delivers, our clients are excited to share their stories with us,” says Ryan Knapp, Director of Account Services.

About the HRA Strategy Case Studies

Each case study is created in coordination with the Employer. Zane Benefits gathers firsthand information about the business’s objectives and utilization of the ZaneHRA. The end result is a powerful story that portrays how the ZaneHRA strategy is rapidly changing the health benefits industry. New case studies are expected to be released weekly.
