The Zane Benefits Services Team has a very simple mission: create happy and successful Zane Benefits customers. Zane Benefits helps you do three things:

  1. Get Started with Zane Benefits. Our HRA and defined contribution specialists make sure you get fully set up with minimal hassle.
  2. Increase Your Software Knowledge. Once you're set up, our consultants teach you how to use the Zane Benefits software to offer great health benefits to employees. They make sure you've mastered the features that are most valuable to your business.
  3. Learn Defined Contribution Best Practices. Our specialists are defined contribution experts, and they love to teach it. They'll make sure you know all the best practices, from plan design to contribution strategy.

We offer Zane Benefits customers three distinct products, each of which is aligned with a different level of the Zane Benefits software package.

ZaneHRA

"A Defined Contribution Health Plan"

ZaneHRA works best for companies that want to offer health benefits, but cannot offer group health insurance due to high cost or participation requirements.

With ZaneHRA, employers offer a defined contribution health plan in which they make available monthly contributions ("allowances") that employees choose how to spend. Employees can use their monthly "ZaneHRA Allowance" to reimburse their individual health insurance costs and eligible medical expenses 100% tax free. Features include online sign-up, IRS/HIPAA/ERISA compliant software platform, electronic plan documents, and integration with any payroll system.

GroupHRA

"Raise the deductible on the group plan and self-insure the increase"

GroupHRA works best for companies that offer group health insurance and want to save money without canceling (or reducing) employee coverage.

With GroupHRA, employers reduce the premium on their current group policy by increasing employee exposure (e.g. raising the deductible). Then, they use GroupHRA to cover the employees increased exposure (e.g. increased deductible) with tax free defined contributions. Features include typical net savings of 20-40% with no reduction in benefits, electronic plan documents and integration with any payroll system.
