This special program was launched in 2010 and was originally expected to run out of money before it could cover everyone who needed it. But the opposite happened. People with pre-existing conditions either didn't know about this plan or didn't care to take part. Less than 20,000 people have signed up across the country. learn at "Penny Health" for your self

Health Insurance reduces your total medical expenses. You do not have to take funds from your savings in order to cover the cost o f your medical treatment allowing the insurance company to absorb any medical expense you accrue, both basic medical coverage and emergency.

Insurance is a necessary thing, especially for those with children.  Not only does it reduce the cost of medical treatment, it also protects other assets.  Insurance premiums are paid routinely.  Those premiums then allow your insurance company to pay a portion, if not all, of your medical expenses. As mentioned above, those premiums vary based a lot of factors and where you live is a major one.
